Yes, I saw the movie today. So why write about it. I am offended, by believers. They claim there is a homosexual moment in the movie. Is there, yes, probably. If you look you will find. Here again is the problem of blogs. Am I to sound off just to get something off my chest or is there a moment we can teach and learn from Disney. So why am I offended? Here is what was in the movie magic that Disney makes. Sorcery, mythology, transsexuality, Beastiality, divination, witchcraft, selfishness, greed, gluttony, even narcissistic behavior and many other vices, this is on the negative side. Disney, however, is a company that is of the world, as most are. They may have even found their new Annette Funicello (that marks my age).

How well do we examine from where every product we buy comes from and who and what make them? We don't. I expect sinners to sin and to sell products and sometimes and quite often their sin is in the product. Here is what also was in this film, the positive side. Great singing that produces joyous moments. Dancing and wonderful stage sets. Fantastic music and special effects.Do we go to Disney flicks to gain our spiritual insights?  Belle does show virtues most Christians lack. However, the Beast states,"Do you realize what you have done? You could have damned us all", is this even close to being Biblically correct? Returning to Belle, she sees what is inside the beast. That reflects scripture when God tells Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I (God) have refused him. For the Lord does not see as a man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart". Love. Yes, it's a love story. So here is why I am offended. Believers are to be Bereans, studying the whole of scripture, not aiming a specific sin. We can find a lot of bad stuff in the world Read Romans 1.Do not be surprised. Be faithful. Grow in the Lord. Be light and salt. See the beauty in what God has created and quit being such beasts...
