A simple set of prayer reminders for our Southwood family, and for those who would like to pray for us:

"And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." Heb. 11:6 

A Prayer for Southwood Bible Church
Dear God, grant us wisdom in knowing how to spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Encourage us to never leave our first love, and to devote ourselves to Your teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

"(Jesus said) And whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it." Jn. 14:13-14

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Phil. 4:6

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you." Is. 43:2

Prayers for Our Missionaries & Ministries

Please pray that Southwood's supported missionaries in the United States and abroad will continue to glorify God in their work for him.

Prayers for Our Community
Please pray for the Lord to bring unsaved people to Southwood. Pray for conviction of their lost condition and God's saving power through Jesus Christ.

Please pray that the Lord would lead our unchurched visitors to the church of His choice.

Please pray that the churches in our community will be the kind of churches God would have them to be--bringing the lost to Christ and having an impact on our community for Him.

Prayers for Our Government Leaders
Please pray for our President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, Governor Mary Fallin, Senator James Inhofe, Senator James Lankford, our congressmen, our military, police, and teachers. "I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone--for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." I Tim. 2: 1-2

Daily Prayer Requests
Every day, there are new prayer requests with personal and health concerns and praises submitted to Southwood Bible Church. With the knowledge that God is always working, please lift these unspoken prayer requests to the Lord.
