Searching for a church is difficult, granted. But it is made even more difficult by people seemingly either wanting a church they "like" or a church that has things that entertain. The Biblical model of a church was basically two things. They were taught the Word of God ( clever concept) and they spent time together sharing and caring. No one was concerned about Youth groups, Nursery and ruckus, professional praise songs (along with lighting and refreshments). What mattered most then, matters least today. At Southwood we offer 4 different classes a week. Bibles are required. Notebook and pencils are suggested. And, of course, be ready to think God's thoughts after class.
